Plane Tix to Costa are cheap…

Sofi and I recently bought our plane tickets to Costa Rica, $350 round trip out of New York. We fly into San Jose and then take a short flight to Puerto Jimenez. From there it is a 45 minute taxi ride down dirt roads to Ojo del Mar. Ojo sits on the ocean at the very edge of the jungle. This is on the Osa peninsula, the least developed part of Costa Rica. It seems that there are more animals then people there. Many mornings me, the fishermen and the pelicans are the only ones on the beach.
The ocean is powerful and loud and magnificent. Quickly, I forget about responsibilities of every day life. How can I think about email when I am watching a flourescent blue butterfly flutter its wings? We stay in lux open air cabinas, feed on gourmet food cooked by our amazing chef and host Nico. We listen. The ocean, monkeys, ciccadas, birds and waterfalls. We meditate while the sun rises, surf and practice yoga yoga yoga. The Osa peninsula is dripping with life. Prana is everywhere. I feel so ALIVE there.
