In downward facing dog, at the bottom of the exhale hold the breath out and scoop the belly deeply in and up, udijana bandha. When you need to breathe, relax the belly and inhale. Try for 3-5 breaths. This will help to bring more stability to the pelvis and core and you get the added benefits of pranayama practice while you are in the pose. An efficient way to work!
